Your profile


As VP of Corporate Development (Chief of Staff), you will serve as a strategic partner and right hand to the CEO. In this full-time,12-month assignment, you will drive cross-functional execution and advance key corporate priorities across strategy, finance, and strategic partnerships:

  • Strategic Initiatives & Corporate Development – supporting the definition, evaluation, and execution of key company initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.

  • Fundraising & Financing Activities – assisting in capital raising efforts, investor materials preparation, financial analysis, and coordination of financing processes.

  • Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management – managing and supporting communication with current and prospective investors, ensuring clear, consistent, and high-quality engagement.

  • Strategic Partnerships – identifying, evaluating, and supporting the development of high-value partnerships to accelerate business growth.

This position requires strong business judgment, the ability to think both strategically and analytically, and a structured yet entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate combines financial sophistication, exceptional communication skills, and strong execution capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities


CEO Partnership & Chief of Staff Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the CEO on high-priority strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Support executive decision-making through analysis, synthesis, and strategic recommendations.

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across teams.

  • Prepare board materials, executive presentations, investor decks, and strategic communications.

  • Help establish and improve organizational operating cadence and executive processes.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO and leadership team.

  • Support special projects and mission-critical initiatives as the company scales.

  • Drive execution and accountability across critical company priorities.


Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Lead market mapping, competitive analyses, and strategic opportunity assessments.

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnership opportunities across biotech, pharma, AI, and technology ecosystems.

  • Support collaboration discussions, licensing opportunities, strategic investments, and potential M&A activities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, investors, and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate diligence processes and support transaction execution.

  • Help shape the company’s external strategic positioning and growth opportunities.


Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Support equity financing activities including venture capital, strategic financing, and crossover investor engagement.

  • Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, and diligence packages.

  • Coordinate fundraising workflows, investor communications, and follow-up processes.

  • Help articulate the company’s strategic vision, business model, and growth trajectory to investors.

  • Support board reporting and investor update processes.

  • Assist with capital planning and financing strategy.


Required qualifications

  • 4-5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

    • Corporate development.

    • Venture capital.

    • Investment banking.

    • Management consulting.

    • Biotech or techbio strategy.

    • Startup leadership or operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of biotech, healthcare, life sciences, or technology markets.

  • Experience supporting or leading fundraising and investor engagement activities.

  • Experience developing financial models, strategic analyses, and executive-level presentations.

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • High degree of ownership, discretion, and sound judgment.
