Your profile
As Manual QA Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.

This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in software testing who is ready to take ownership of quality initiatives and contribute to the evolution of our testing infrastructure.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Córdoba, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Process Improvement: Proactively identify and suggest improvements in test practices, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative measures.

  • Manual Test Execution: Apply manual testing techniques (Black Box, Grey Box) to validate functional, UI/UX, and integration aspects of web and mobile applications.

  • Test Planning & Documentation: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with product specifications and user stories.

  • Defect Tracking and Analysis: Log, track, and analyze defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Project QA Support: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements review to release validation.

  • Quality Reporting: Generate and maintain test execution reports and quality metrics dashboards to support product release decisions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous refinement of QA processes and documentation standards across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent professional experience or higher qualifications may also be considered.

  • Experience

    • 2–3 years of experience in manual software testing in a fast-paced development environment.

    • Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Certifications: ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level or equivalent certification (highly desirable).

  • Language: English Fluent, Spanish Fluent.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the defect life cycle.

  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.

  • Ability to analyse business and functional requirements to create detailed test scenarios.

  • Experience with various testing types: exploratory, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Familiarity with:

    • Test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

    • Issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in dynamic settings.
